Hello all,
I just got back to Flordia after an amazing vacation to lovely upstate New York (there’s something weird about having to take a vacation to where I live). After a long section of this trip to FL I finally got to see Gretchen and a place that feels normal to me. It’s fall up there, you’d hardly be able to tell here in the tropics.
I love the fall, the colors, the weather and the crisp northern air. There’s nothin’ like it! I’m glad I got to experience it for at least a week. Lucky for me too… my flight out was cancelled and I got to spend an extra day… Horray!
Experiencing the fall in upstate NY is something I’ve never had the pleasure of doing (not to mention anything elsein NY). I must tell you I’m very suprised by how beautiful this area is! Here’s a little peek…

This is a pond we drove by on the way back to watertown from a nice little cafe we enjoyed for a couple hours in Syracuse… an interesting little place… (gangsta gangsta!) As far as outside of the city goes though there’s no lack of beauty and spending it with Gretch makes it all the more special.
This is from the 1,000 Islands region on the St. Lawerence river.

Amazing!
I have probably about another month here or less. I can’t wait to see the winter back up north, this trip was the first time I was able to really explore the region and it is a place made for photography! So expect plenty of pics after I get back (and tell me what you think).
This is in Watertown about 5 min from our place.

I’m a little tired after traveling for about 12 hours of plane rideage and so I’m probably rambling a might, so I’ll sign off. Till next time… keep your stick on the ice eh?
